With over 27 years of experience in analytical chemistry, Cathy is an NMR Spectroscopist with expertise in structural studies of proteins, peptides, and small molecules.

Cathy is an NMR Spectroscopist with extensive hands‐on experience in structural studies of proteins, peptides, and small molecules. She has broad background in analytical chemistry including experience with infrared spectroscopy, circular dichroism, fluorescence, electron spin resonance (ESR or EPR), mass spectrometry, and purification. Utilizing a fully GMP-compliant NMR, Cathy supports ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½’s customers with routine testing, feasibility studies, protocol development, and method validations.

Experience

As a principal chemist at ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½, Cathy supports clients with USP/EP/JP (Pharmacopeia) monographs or validated test methods, and method validations per ICH Q2 (R1) guidelines; non‐validated methods performed for ANDA FDA document submission or internal R&D. In her previous role, Cathy supported both internal and external customers with training, experiment development, and creation of optimized parameter sets for common experiments; ensured high-quality data and maximum up‐time with proactive software upgrades, routine maintenance and regular shimming of instruments. Throughout her career, Cathy has written several papers related to analytical chemistry for various publications and presented at many conferences.
