LONDON, UK – September 18, 2014 – Delsen Testing Laboratories is to be formally rebranded under the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ name. One of the most highly regarded composites testing laboratories in the US, the newly named ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ Los Angeles plays a key role in the company’s alignment with Aerospace Primes who are focusing their R&D budgets increasingly towards composite materials.  

On the rebranding, Rick Sluiters, ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½’s Executive Vice President, Aerospace, comments: “We are delighted that Delsen has now officially become part of the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ platform. Our goal is for ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ Los Angeles to become a global center of excellence for polymer matrix composites (PMC) knowledge by 2018.”

The Nadcap-approved laboratory in Glendale, CA, holds a number of major Aerospace Prime approvals and recently received Airbus accreditation for AITM 2.0005, 2.0003, 2.0004, 2.0005 and 2.0038 standards.

The site is now fully integrated into the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ platform, encompassing quality systems, health and safety and technical and commercial sharing. It will be officially known as ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ Los Angeles from October 1st 2014.
