ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ already has the highest number of destructive testing laboratories in the Oil & Gas sector across the Netherlands and Belgium, supplying a comprehensive range of materials testing services in the validation of materials, welds and coatings to the Oil & Gas sector and it has recently extended its materials testing capabilities to support clients in other sectors in the region.
Over the past 18 months, Element has invested heavily in Coatings qualifications services at its laboratory in Amsterdam, as well as in a new range of on-site Materials Identification (MI) and Replica testing services that are available across all of its Netherlands and Belgium laboratories. These new services complement ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½’s existing laboratory-based work and deliver routine safety testing on-site, as well as more urgent and expansive testing where required.
Rod Martin, ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½’s Executive Vice President, Oil & Gas, comments: “Element has a considerable history in the Netherlands and Belgium, not least in Hengelo where we have operated for over a century. Our continued investment in support of our clients in the Netherlands and Belgium is a critical part of our long-term strategy to provide technical and operational excellence in this important sector for our business.
“We look forward to the increasing operations at our new Coatings facility in Amsterdam, as well as a number of steps we will be taking to unlock the potential of our global network of Engaged Experts across a range of sectors in this regional market.” Element has Oil & Gas sector laboratories across the region, including Amsterdam, Beek, Breda, Hengelo and Veendam. All of these laboratories are accredited under the NEN-EN-ISO/IEC 17025 scope of accreditation.
