Test, Track and Trend Emissions Data with ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½’s Digital Platform, e-Mission

Element has launched the industry’s first end-to-end digital platform, e-Mission, to transform the way industrial sites track emissions and utilize their emissions data. The easy-to-use online tool allows users to test, track and trend all their ISO 17025 and MCERTS accredited periodic emissions data, allowing a clear picture of their environmental status and providing the ability to spot trends and identify issues before they become problems.

Simplify environmental compliance management and deliver greater data visibility

e-Mission is designed to simplify environmental compliance management and deliver greater data visibility to help reduce emissions and enhance operational effectiveness. The platform is an effective tool to support manufacturers with accurately measuring and reporting emissions to meet the obligations of their Environmental Permit and MCERTS, the Environment Agency’s Monitoring Certification Scheme for equipment, personnel and organizations. It can also play a key role in demonstrating a best practice approach to audits including the Environmental Agency’s Operator Monitoring Assessments (OMAs) which now require the trending of emissions data.

Plan and track emission testing programs

By holding all the emissions data dynamically and in one place, e-Mission makes the planning and tracking of stack emission testing programs and the trending of data quick and easy. The tool’s ability to drill down and interrogate data by different parameters, different timeframes and different emission points, allows users to extract and trend specific data themselves, filtering the view as appropriate. This means, for example, if eight stacks are tested, the user can rapidly drill down and review one stack or even a specific test on that stack.

The platform is a vital new additional tool to help track any changes in emissions, enabling the identification of potential issues, including problems with a particular process. Its ability to spot trends means a small singular change, such as rising dust level readings, can be easily identified, providing an early warning signal.  Additionally, it provides the ability to highlight trends including low level mercury readings over time and supporting monitoring protocols.

Provide a clear evidence trail

e-Mission allows users to save time by instantly accessing all the key information needed, including historic data, SSPs, monitoring plans and jobs completed, providing a clear evidence trail and proof of required knowledge. The platform also helps the user to plan and book test campaigns, track progress, and review the upcoming work schedule.

ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½’s market leading resource of 36 accredited teams of highly specialist and experienced experts all work in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 and MCERTS.  The teams have access to the largest resource of specialist testing equipment, including instrumental analyzers and samplers, available in the UK and Europe. This ensures they are always ready to respond quickly to sampling requests and can manage any sized monitoring project, no matter how complex or what compound needs to be measured, including developing new methods if necessary.

Achieve regulatory compliance

ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ offers a complete range of stack emissions testingenvironmental monitoring, and consultancy services to help organizations achieve regulatory compliance for their industrial installations. In addition to stack emissions testing, ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ also offers verification of continuous emissions monitoring systems (CEMS) to EN 14181, odour measurement to the European Odour Standard EN 13725, process emissions investigations with FTIR analyzers, 850oC two seconds residence time verificationbiogenic carbon 14 monitoring, abatement efficiency testing and much more.
